وَجَـٰوَزْنَا بِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدْرَكَهُ ٱلْغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنتُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَتْ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓا۟ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
We led the Children of Israel across the sea, then Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them out of transgression and tyranny, until when he was drowning, he said, “I believe that none has the right to be worshiped except He in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of those who submit to Allah.”

_ويسَّرْنا_ لبني إسرائيل عبور البحر بعد فَلْقِه حتى جاوزوه سالمين، _فلحقهم_ فرعون وجنوده _ظلمًا واعتداء_، حتى إذا انطبق عليه البحر، وناله الغرق، ويئس من النجاة. قال: آمنت أنه لا معبود بحق إلا الذي آمنت به بنو إسرائيل، وأنا من المنقادين لله بالطاعة.
