{وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي} أَيْ وَجَعَلَنِي بَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي، {وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا} أَيْ عَاصِيًا لِرَبِّهِ. قِيلَ: "الشَّقِيُّ": الَّذِي يُذْنِبُ وَلَا يَتُوبُ.
