واذكر - أيها الرسول - في هذا القرآن خبر إسماعيل عليه السلام، إنه كان صادقًا في وعده فلم يَعِد شيئًا إلا وفَّى به، وكان رسولا نبيًا.

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِسْمَـٰعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَّبِيًّا
And mention in the Book [the story of] Ishmael. He was true to his promise and was a messenger and a prophet.
