أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَـٰرَىٰ ۗ قُلْ ءَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَـٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the descendants [of Jacob] were Jews or Christians?” Say, “Are you more knowledgeable or Allah?” Who does greater wrong than the one who hides a testimony he has from Allah? But Allah is not unaware of what you do.

তোমরা কি বল যে, ‘অবশ্যই ইবরাহীম, ইসমাঈল, ইসহাক, ইয়াকুব ও তাঁর বংশধরগণ ইয়াহুদী বা নাসারা ছিল’ ? বলুন, ‘তোমরা কি বেশী জান, না আল্লাহ্ ? তার চেয়ে বেশী যালিম আর কে হতে পারে যে আল্লাহ্র কাছ থেকে তার কাছে যে সাক্ষ্য আছে তা গোপন করে ? আর তোমরা যা কর সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ্ গাফেল নন।
