How miserable is the price for which they sold their souls – disbelieving in Allah’s revelation out of jealous hatred that Allah would send down His grace to whom He wills of His slaves! Thus they have incurred wrath upon wrath[41], and for the disbelievers, there will be a disgracing punishment.

بئس الذي _استبدلوا_ به حظ أنفسهم من الإيمان بالله ورسله؛ فكفروا بما أنزل الله وكذبوا رسله، _ظلمًا وحسدًا_ بسبب إنزال النبوة والقرآن على محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فاستحقوا غضبًا مضاعفًا من الله تعالى بكفرهم بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وبسبب تحريفهم التوراة من قبل. وللكافرين بنبوة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم عذاب _مُذِلٌّ_ يوم القيامة.
