فقلنا: يا آدم، إن إبليس عدوّ لك وعدو لزوجك، فلا يخرجنّك أنت وزوجك من الجنة بطاعته فيما يوسوس به، فتتحمّل أنت المشاقّ والمكاره.

فَقُلْنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰٓ
We said “O Adam, this is an enemy to you and to your wife, so do not let him drive you both out of Paradise, for then you will fall into misery.
