تمنَّت جماعة من اليهود والنصارى لو يضلونكم -أيها المسلمون- عن الإسلام، وما يضلون إلا أنفسهم وأتباعهم، وما يدرون ذلك ولا يعلمونه.

وَدَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
A faction of the People of the Book wishes to mislead you [believers]; they do not mislead except themselves, but they do not realize.
