আর তাদের নেতারা এ বলে সরে পড়ে যে, 'তোমরা চলে যাও এবং তোমাদের দেবতাগুলোর পূজায় তোমরা অবিচলিত থাক। নিশ্চয়ই এ ব্যাপারটি উদ্দেশ্যমূলক।'

وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ يُرَادُ
The leaders among them departed, saying, “Carry on as you are, and stay faithful to your gods. Indeed, there is a motive behind it[4].
