Leave those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deluded by the life of this world. But admonish them with this [Qur’an], so no soul should be ruined for its misdeeds – having no protector or intercessor other than Allah. Even if they were to offer every form of ransom, it would not be accepted. Such are the ones who will be ruined for their misdeeds. They will have scalding water to drink and a painful punishment for their disbelief.

_ودع_ - أيها الرسول - هؤلاء المشركين الذين _صَيَّرُوا_ دينهم لعبًا وَلَهْوًا يسخرون منه ويستهزئون به، _وخدعتهم_ الحياة الدنيا بما فيها من متع زائلة، وَعِظْ - أيها النبي - الناس بالقرآن حتى لا _تُسْلَمَ_ نفس إلى الهلاك بسبب ما كسبته من سيئات، ليس لها من دون الله _حليف_ تستنصر به، ولا شافع يمنع عنها عذاب الله يوم القيامة، وإذا _افتدت_ من عذاب الله بأي فداء لا يقبل منها، أولئك الذين _أُسْلِمُوا_ إلى هلاك أنفسهم بسبب ما ارتكبوه من المعاصي، لهم يوم القيامة شراب _متناهي الحرارة_، وعذاب _موجع_ بسبب كفرهم.
