المختصر في تفسير القرآن الكريم
اطلب - أيها الرسول - المغفرة لهم، أو لا تطلبها لهم، فإن طلبتها سبعين مرة، فإنها على كثرتها لن توصل إلى مغفرة الله لهم؛ لأنهم كافرون بالله ورسوله، والله لا يوفق للحق الخارجين عن شرعه عن عمد وقصد.

ٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
Whether you [O Prophet] seek forgiveness for them or not, even if you seek forgiveness for them seventy times[64], Allah will never forgive them[65]; that is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger. Allah does not guide the rebellious people.
