إِنَّمَا جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓا۟ أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوٓا۟ أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلَـٰفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْىٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
The penalty[30] for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and spread corruption in the land[31], is that they should be executed, or crucified, or their hands and feet amputated on opposite sides, or banished from the land[32]. This is a disgrace for them in this world, and for them in the Hereafter, there will be a great punishment.
[30] Legal retribution. [31] i.e., commit acts of violence and terrorism against individuals or treason and aggression against the Islamic state. [32] This verse details the penal code for such acts as highway robbery and banditry, known as hadd al-hirābah (the penal code of waging war).
যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করে এবং জমিনে ফ্যাসাদ করে বেড়ায়, তাদের শাস্তি কেবল এটাই যে, তাদেরকে হত্যা করা হবে অথবা শূলে চড়ানো হবে কিংবা বিপরীত দিক থেকে তাদের হাত ও পা কেটে ফেলা হবে(৩) অথবা তাদেরকে দেশ থেকে নির্বাসিত করা হবে। এটি তাদের জন্য দুনিয়ায় লাঞ্ছনা এবং তাদের জন্য আখিরাতে রয়েছে মহাশাস্তি।
(৩) একবার অপরাধ করলে, তাদের ডান হাত ও বাম পা কেটে দেয়া হবে এবং আবার অপরাধ করলে, তার বাম হাত ও ডান পা কেটে দেয়া হবে।
