Then when they see it[7] approaching closer, the faces of the disbelievers will be distressed, and it will be said, “This is what you were asking for[8].”

[7] The punishment on the Day of Judgment of which they were warned. [8] As they were challenging their prophets, saying, "Bring upon us the punishment, if you are truthful."

অতঃপর তারা যখন তা (কিয়ামত দিবস) আসন্ন দেখতে পাবে, তখন কাফিরদের চেহারা মলিন হয়ে যাবে এবং তাদেরকে বলা হবে: ‘এটাই হলো তা, যা (সংঘটিত হওয়ার জন্যে) তোমরা দাবী করছিলে।’
