أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا
Have you seen the one[22] who rejects Our verses and says, “I will surely be given wealth and children [if I am resurrected]?”
[22] Al-‘Ās ibn Wāi’l, a staunch enemy of Islam in Makkah, not only disbelieved in resurrection; rather, he expected that he would be given wealth and children if resurrected.
(হে রাসূল!) তুমি কি সেই ব্যক্তিকে দেখেছ, যে আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে এবং বলে: ‘(আমি মরে গেলে আমাকে পুনরুত্থান করা হলেও) আমাকে অবশ্যই প্রচুর ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দেয়া হবে?’
