وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ لَيْسَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
The Jews say, “The Christians have nothing to stand on” and the Christians say, “The Jews have nothing to stand on[46],” although they both recite the Scripture. And those [pagans] who have no knowledge say something similar. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
[46] This incident is documented when the Christians of Najrān came to the Messenger of Allah, the rabbis met them and both parties disputed.
আর ইয়াহূদীরা বলে: ‘খৃস্টানরা কোন ভিত্তির উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত নয়’ এবং খৃস্টানরা বলে: ‘ইয়াহূদীরা কোন ভিত্তির উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত নয় ’; অথচ তারা কিতাব পড়ে। এভাবে যারা কিতাবের কিছুই জানেনা তারাও তাদের অনুরূপ একই কথা বলে। কাজেই যে বিষয়ে তারা মতভেদ করতো কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করবেন।
