وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
This is how We recompense those who transgress the limits and do not believe in the verses of his Lord; and the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more lasting[48].

১২৭. এ প্রতিদানের ন্যায় আমি ওকেও প্রতিদান দেবো যে চাহিদা নিবারণে হারাম কাজে মগ্ন এবং তার প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে আসা সুস্পষ্ট দলীলসমূহের উপর ঈমান আনা থেকে সে বিরত রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ দুনিয়া ও বরযখের কঠিন জীবনের চেয়েও আখিরাতের আল্লাহর আযাব অনেক ভয়ঙ্কর, শক্তিশালী ও দীর্ঘস্থায়ী।
