অতঃপর তার নফ্স তাকে তার ভাই হত্যার বশ করল। ফলে সে তাকে হত্যা করল; এভাবে সে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হল।

فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُۥ نَفْسُهُۥ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
But the former justified to himself the killing of his brother and killed him, and thus became one of the losers.
