Concise Quran Commentary
Your Lord, O Messenger, would not destroy any town if its inhabitants were acting correctly on earth. He would only destroy it if the inhabitants were causing corruption by disbelief, disobedience and sins.

সূরা ১১ : আয়াত ১১৭
وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُونَ
আর (হে রাসূল!) তোমার রব এমন নন যে, তিনি অন্যায়ভাবে জনপদসমূহ ধ্বংস করে দিবেন; অথচ তার অধিবাসীরা (শান্তি-শৃঙ্খলা প্রতিষ্ঠায়) সংশোধনকারী।
