يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَـٰذَآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ قَدْ جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَإِنَّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِمْ عَذَابٌ غَيْرُ مَرْدُودٍ
(ফিরিশতাগণ বললো) হে ইবরাহীম! তুমি এ থেকে(২৯) বিরত হও। নিশ্চয় (শাস্তি পতিত হওয়ার ব্যাপারে) তোমার রবের সিদ্ধান্ত এসে গেছে । নিশ্চয় তাদের উপর মহা শাস্তি আসছে , যা প্রতিহত হবার নয়।

The angels told Abraham to leave off debating about the people of Lot: the command of his Lord had come that they would receive the punishment He had decreed for them, and there was a great punishment coming to the people of Lot, which no debate or prayer could turn back.
