The idolaters have taken for themselves things of worship other than Allah, so that they may be a support and source of assistance for them.

সূরা ১৯ : আয়াত ৮১
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لِّيَكُونُوا۟ لَهُمْ عِزًّا
আর তারা (মুশরিকরা) আল্লাহ ছাড়া নিজেদের জন্যে বহু ‘ইলাহ’ গ্রহণ করেছে, যাতে ওরা তাদের সাহায্যকারী হতে পারে।
