قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ٱللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةً مِّنكَ ۖ وَٱرْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
মারইয়াম পুত্র ‘ঈসা বলল: ‘হে আল্লাহ, হে আমাদের রব! আসমান থেকে আমাদের জন্যে খাদ্য ভর্তি খাঞ্চা নাযিল করুন। এটা আমাদের এবং আমাদের পূর্ববর্তী ও পরবর্তী সকলের জন্যে ঈদ হবে। উপরন্তু তা আপনার পক্ষ থেকে এক প্রমাণ হবে। আর আমাদেরকে রিযক দান করুন, আপনিই তো শ্রেষ্ঠ রিযকদাতা।’

Jesus gave in to their request and prayed to Allah saying, ‘Our Lord, send down to us a table of food, so that we can hold a festival on the day it comes down in order to honour You out of gratitude. It will also be a sign and proof of Your Oneness and of the truth of what I have been sent with. Give us such provision that will help us worship You. You, O our Lord, are the best provider’.
