وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِى ٱلْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَـٰهِدِينَ
And [remember] David and Solomon, when they passed judgment about the tillage into which some people’s sheep had strayed at night[31], and We were witnesses to their judgment.
[31] Destroying the crops and eating therefrom.
আর (হে রাসূল! তুমি) স্মরণ করো দাঊদ ও সুলায়মানের কথা, যখন তারা শস্যক্ষেত সম্পর্কে বিচার করছিল, যাতে রাতের বেলায় কোনো জাতির মেষ ঢুকে পড়েছিল। আর আমি তাদের বিচার কাজের সাক্ষী ছিলাম।(১৬)
(১৬) অর্থাৎ তাদের বিচার স্বচক্ষে দেখছিলাম।
