وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا۟ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
If you reject [the message], so did many nations reject before you. The duty of the Messenger is only to deliver the message clearly[5].”
[5] It is either the continuation of the words of Abraham or Allah’s words given as a comfort to the Prophet (ﷺ).
আর যদি তোমরা (মুহাম্মাদ-এর আনিত বিধানকে) মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করো, তবে তোমাদের পূর্বে অনেক জাতিও (এ ভাবেই) মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছিলো। মূলত রাসূলের ওপর দায়িত্ব তো কেবল আমার বাণী সুস্পষ্টভাবে পৌঁছানো।
