قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مَدًّا ۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْا۟ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًا
(হে রাসূল! তুমি তাদেরকে) বলে দাও: ‘যে পথভ্রষ্টতায় রয়েছে, তাকে পরম করুণাময় প্রচুর অবকাশ দিবেন(২০); যতক্ষণ না যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছে, তা তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, চাই তা শাস্তি হোক অথবা কিয়ামত। তখন তারা জানতে পারবে কে মর্যাদায় নিকৃষ্ট ও দলবলে দুর্বল।(২১)
এই আয়াতে নির্বাচিত ভাষার তাফসীর নেই; উপলব্ধ পাঠ দেখানো হচ্ছে।
Say - O Messenger: The Merciful will grant respite to those wallowing in their misguidance, so that they fall further into it, until when they see what they have been warned about- either the swift punishment in this world or the punishment postponed to the Day of Judgment - then they will realise who is worse situated and who has the weakest forces. Is it their party or the party of the believers.
